mise dotfiles untrack
- Usage:
mise dotfiles untrack <PATH>… - Effect: modifies state
- Source code:
src/cli/dotfiles/untrack.rs
Stop tracking a file or directory
Removes the path's mode = "track" entry from your global config. When a project or system config declares the entry, mise turns it off on this machine in config.local.toml next to your global config instead.
A path inside a tracked directory has no entry of its own: mise adds a rule for it to [history] exclude in the global config, and mise dot include <path> removes that rule. The file itself and its existing checkpoints are not changed.
Arguments
<PATH>…— Paths to stop tracking
Flags
-h --help— Print help
